COVID-19 Health & Safety
Effective August 20, 2021, The Chicago Department of Public Health requires that everyone 2+ wear masks in public indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status. Staff and guests' safety remains a top priority, so guests who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear masks in accordance with CDC, Illinois, and Chicago Guidelines. We will continue to encourage physical distancing and of course, will keep all cleaning & disinfectant protocols in place. Should you become ill during your stay, please self-isolate, contact the Chicago Department of Public Health and notify the front desk immediately. We will promptly undertake additional COVID-19 protocols for your safety and the safety of other guests and employees.
All areas of the hotel and high-traffic public areas are sanitized at an increased frequency with approved disinfecting products. We are following public health recommendations of the EPA/CDC and have adopted an Enhanced Sanitation Protocol:
Guest rooms Cleaning/Disinfecting
Before cleaning and disinfecting - team members enter the room wearing appropriate PPE. Surveys the room for hazard waste/ materials
The room is stripped of all linen and terry. The linen and terry are double bagged and placed by the entry door. All garbage is collected and double bagged and placed by the entry door.
Team members enter the bathroom, using a 12" wide spray, apply in a sweeping motion Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner & Disinfectant to cover all surfaces completely, allowing the product to dwell on surfaces for 10 minutes
Team members enter the bedroom area, using a 12" wide spray, apply in a sweeping motion 14 Plus Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner to cover all surfaces completely, allowing the product to dwell on surfaces for 10 minutes
After a 10 minute dwelling period, the guest room is cleaned following hotel standards and protocol
When exiting the room all high touch areas and door handles are disinfected and wiped again
Due to the safety of our staff and guests, turn-down service and service to stay-over rooms are currently not being offered to guests staying under three nights. However, per request, fresh towels and linen can be provided outside of the guestroom.
Public Area Cleaning/Disinfecting

In area using 12" wide spray, apply in a sweeping motion 14 Plus Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner to cover all surfaces, high touch areas, and door handles completely, allowing the product to dwell on surfaces for 10 minutes
After a 10 minute dwelling period, the area is cleaned following hotel standards and protocol
Public Area is set to be cleaned and disinfected every 30 minutes
Linen and Terry Cleaning/Disinfecting
Laundry is done internally with upgraded equipment that is set to the hospital-grade procedure
